Introduction

myCoachz GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102. The legal basis for this is the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Status of Accessibility

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website. Some content does not yet fully comply with the legal accessibility requirements, and the requirements of BITV 2.0 are currently only partially met.

Non-accessible Content and Planned Measures

Color Contrast

Some user interface elements (e.g. buttons, links, navigation) have insufficient color contrast, which makes readability difficult, especially for people with visual impairments. Measures: All affected elements will be adjusted in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 contrast requirements by March 2026.

ARIA Attributes

Certain interactive areas currently lack sufficient ARIA attributes. As a result, usability with screen readers is limited. Measures: The implementation of correct ARIA attributes will be carried out gradually by March 2026.

Alt Attributes

Some images (e.g. banners) currently do not have alternative text. This limits usability with screen readers. Measures: Missing alt attributes will be implemented gradually by December 2025.

Missing or Incorrect Markup of Headings and Lists

On some subpages, the hierarchical order of headings is not consistently maintained, and lists are not always properly formatted as such. Measures: Structural issues and hierarchy errors will be revised and are expected to be resolved by July 2026. We continuously strive for improvements.

This statement was last reviewed on 16 October 2025. The assessment of the website’s compliance with the requirements of BITV 2.0 is based on a self-assessment using manual tests and the automated WAVE tool.
